Are there any good classifieds for selling sailboat sails by themselves?

I have a Spinaker and a Genoa sail that I have to a 27 ft. boat that I would like to sell and I'm finding it hard to get to whom might be the right audiance.

Are there any good forums for this kind of specialty item-s ?Are there any good classifieds for selling sailboat sails by themselves?
eBay is one place to try, but I just checked and there was only two listings so there might not be much of a big audience there for you.

I found a few potentail websites for you to check out, where it looks like they might be able to help you with selling your sails.

Good luck!
Search the net for used sails...most retailers selling surplus stock.

or...

www.motors.ebay.com go to sailboats and parts and accessaries....plenty of used sail auctions there.

Update:

JSalakar's ebay search skills are a bit lacking. There are currently over 10 listings.

go here:

Also yacht club pages with for sale listings or craigs list, etc.Are there any good classifieds for selling sailboat sails by themselves?
You may have already thought of this, but put up some notices at boatyards and marinas, especially where there are cruisers or live aboards. Even though most cruisers are on boats bigger than 27 feet, you do find a few smaller ones, and they are always looking for replacements and spares. They also often know of other people who are looking for things, and they spread the word.

There is a site called sailnet.com which may be useful to you.

Hope this helps. Are there any good classifieds for selling sailboat sails by themselves?
Almost every large city with a bay or waterway suitable for sailing will have a boating community. including sailing newspapers, magazines and bulletin boards.

in SF "Latitude 38" is one such

San Diego has www.thelog.com a local sailing and boating newspaper.

look at communities near the ocean....search the net for sailing and boating periodicals.

In SoCal, there are so many sailboats in that range, it shouldnt take long.

also look at marine suppliers like West Marine, the local shop has a bulletin board you could post on.

Or Boats USA...

good luck.
