I have some furniture listed for sale in the classifieds. How do I manage the responses?

I have had the ad in for 1 day. I have had 2 replies. I responded to the first one, but she hasn't contacted me back. How long should I wait before I offer it to the next buyer? Is it whomever shows me money first? or should I let the first respondant "see" the item and make her decision, then offer it to the next one?I have some furniture listed for sale in the classifieds. MY AREA PEOPLE....STAND BACK..

The first person that has the cash in American dollars,,,get the merchandise.....this is not a Wally world event, no layaway, no hold, no pay every 2 weeks, no get out by 12/15.

Get it sold and gone...cost effective. HINT: 99% of people that say they are coming, calling or coming back....don't. Cost effective...sell quick and move on
It's your decision whether time or money is a priority.

Option a) Inform your potential buyers that you'll allow whomever to see your furniture, make an offer, and you'll make a decision on a preset date (like this Saturday). You take the chance that your buyers may lose interest, but you may get higher "bids".

Option b) First paid, first serve. Less possible money, but you're more likely to get paid.I have some furniture listed for sale in the classifieds. How do I manage the responses?
i would tell them its first come first serve...the first to come with the money takes it, just make them aware.I have some furniture listed for sale in the classifieds. How do I manage the responses?
I'd jump over every response. If the first one hasn't returned your call yet, start working on the second one. Usually it is whomever shows you the money first.

To people to move quicker, tell them that you've had other inquiries and you'd like them to get back to you as soon as possible.
