How do Free Classifieds really make their money?

...Im sure they cant just rely on Adsense or stay free for yeaarrs!How do Free Classifieds really make their money?
three's no such thing as FREE someone somewhere has to pay for it. Looking at most of those free classifieds there's lot of other ads and banners.



Sprat to catch a mackerel people go where they can to do stuff free and when it's popular or you want to use a service you have to pay.... so that's not free in my eyes.



I found a free classifieds http://www.tradersreview.co.uk/class/ but you only pay if you add bold or colours to your ads display so I guess is is partly free like the rest.
most don't make much money at all. But since it is automated and low cost to host a website a little bit is better than nothing. Craigslist makes money from there help wanted ads which in most cities they charge $25 to place a post.How do Free Classifieds really make their money?
They make their money from the companies who advertise in them. A lot of free newspapers are delivered to most of the households in all areas.How do Free Classifieds really make their money?
People still have to pay to run their ads? Businesses too! Not sure how they come out in the end...............or anything about how they are marketing online? Curious to know also!
